I have to admit I hate having my photo taken and wanted to find a photographer that wouldn't ask me on the day to continuously smile or to look a certain way, however, saying that I still wanted someone who could capture the shots that would show the joy, love and celebration of my wedding day....not asking much hay!...James listened and understood exactly what me and my husband wanted and did just that, he blended in with the guests and joked with the family so no one thought of him as a photographer resulting in all my natural pictures being truly that.. natural and fun....We did a list of the photos which were a must and left James to rest and I'm so glad we did. We have fun photos, photos that capture the emotion and photos that make me cry and want to do It all again.

James is AMAZING!! He was recommended to me by my brother, who said he was very talented and I should look at his work. I got James around and had a chat about what I wanted, which were natural pictures, nothing too posed he then went on to tell me he hadn’t done a wedding before which I was a little worried about at first but honestly after I seen the first few pictures I could of cried I was so happy with them. he captured every moment. Didn’t miss anything. Everyone was commenting on how beautiful my wedding pictures were. James was so professional and made us feel very comfortable and I remember after the speech’s he came running to get me and my husband because the sun was setting and he wanted to take a picture, it wasn’t planned and it wasn’t meant to happen but it did and that picture is hanging on so many walls. All our family wanted a copy and that picture is and will always be one of my favourite photos of my life. I say one of because I now have a collage of James's photography on my stairs! He has captured my family’s life and I will always have these precious memories because of his work. I would recommend him again and again and I will always use him for the memories yet to come.

For my wedding day I was very clear about what I wanted in term of photographing the day, and James was so happy to listen to allow me to share my thoughts with him. I didn’t want guests being dragged to stand in groups and stood around for hours on end while me and my husband posed with the addition of various people in an orderly queue. I just wanted some really special moments capturing, natural points of the day almost just like someone watching from the sidelines. James walked round my ceremony venue with me and was so understanding about what I wanted, then we went to the reception venue and we talked through the moments I wanted to capture. The day was amazing, his colleague and James just blended in and I almost forgot they were there, but the end result was amazing, he captured the before, during and after the ceremony perfectly, got some great shots inside and outside as the weather was so beautiful and it was a pleasure to have him there. We have some fabulous photos of our amazing day , some which just came out of nowhere, and I would highly recommend James. He is a true professional and produced some excellent memories, even staying longer to capture moments when we were running a bit later than planned.

James was an absolute pleasure to have as our photographer. The day went so smoothly, James helped with time keeping as well as taking amazing photos. He was professional and we felt at ease as he was friendly and outgoing but was also discrete and worked in the background. We had a blast with our location shoot and James just understood what we were looking for. The photos speak for them selves but I would recommend James any day.
